A leading LED lighting company commissioned Metrix to study the impact of pricing on market performance.

RESEARCH APPROACH
RMS data on market operating prices and market shares over 36 months was analyzed for 7w, 9w and 12W LED bulbs.

WINNING OUTCOME
Metrix developed a simulation dashboard to help the Client examine probable market share in different pricing scenario. The model was able to provide the following:

•Price differential between wattages that trigger demand transition to a higher/ lower wattage

•A regression-based simulator that forecast market share at diverse prices for brands
